The DMHS program is pleased to announce a return to our championship pedigree by the hiring of Shasta Millhollin as the head Varsity volleyball coach. Shasta brings an incredible balance of world-class coaching and playing experience to the DMHS volleyball program.

Shasta has coached some of the top high school teams and club teams in Arizona and California, including Aspire, Club Red, Gold Cal, Vision and City Beach. Most recently she was the head coach of the Varsity girls volleyball team at Perry High School. Before that Shasta was the Varsity girls volleyball head coach at Westwood High School and the graduate assistant volleyball coach at Arizona State University (NCAA Division I – PAC 10).

In addition to her club and school coaching duties, she also coached for the Arizona Region’s High Performance teams.  As a player, Shasta was the starting setter for her high school, Junior College (Solano – NJCAA) and University (Notre Dame de Namus – NCAA Division II (she was originally signed and recruited to play for Texas A&M)). Shasta also still holds the record for most total assists in the Bay Valley Conference and was voted Pacific West Conference Female Athlete of the Year.
